Well, this time I only had the language options, no sign of the Access Run time saervice pack download wanting to move in and live on my C drive. SO far then, this looks to be a fix. Unless you, Kathy, think I need to takemore steps or try anything else, then I'm happy to flag this as an answer that has fixed my problem. I don't know if the folk watching this who have the same problem, have found it has microsoft office access 2007 data connectivity components free for them?
